Explorer alumnus Daniel “Danny” Martinez ’89, Co-Founder and Chief Banking Officer of BankMiami, brings more than 30 years of banking experience and proudly serves on the Board of Directors of the Explorers High School Alumni Association. Alongside him is Mary B. Usategui, President & CEO of BankMiami, a respected banking leader with more than 20 years of industry experience. Mary and her husband Ramon are also known within the Explorer community for fostering alumnus Waquel “Nookie” Jones ’20. Together, Danny, Mary, and an experienced leadership team have built BankMiami, a community-focused financial institution created by some of South Florida’s most respected banking professionals. With deep roots in Miami and a commitment to personalized service, BankMiami was founded on the belief that local businesses and families deserve a banking partner that truly understands their needs.
