Dr. Antony A. Farias, Class of 1994, is a Miami native and board-certified nephrologist with Nephrology Associates of South Miami, where he has been serving patients throughout South Florida since 2010. Specializing in nephrology and internal medicine, Dr. Farias provides expert care for patients with hypertension, chronic kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, kidney stones, swelling, abnormal kidney function, and dialysis management. His practice offers comprehensive treatment options including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, home dialysis therapies, and kidney transplant referrals, with a focus on improving patients’ quality of life through personalized care and advanced treatment strategies. Dr. Farias is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and serves as Co-Chair of the Renal Task Force Committee for Baptist Health South Florida. He is also actively involved in several hospital committees and serves as a Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where he lectures and mentors future physicians.
